Welcome to Sahar!

Salam, welcome :)

I've been asked quite a few times, why a hijab brand, and why Sahar? For one, I think my interest in starting a hijab brand stems from both my love for art and design, and my elementary discovery of entrepreneurship. Growing up, I had a slight knack for business too (a.k.a, when my best friend and I had a paper-based pet shop in elementary school). We had every detail sorted out, and I don't think I ever forgot how much I enjoyed every bit of the experience - even if it wasn't the most accurate to a modern day business.

And while I've since learned how multifaceted running a business can be, I still love it. Just as much as I love the creative aspect of it. Alongside my prosperous partnership, I also maintained an interest in art. I've experimented with various mediums, styles, methods, textures, eventually leading me to graphic design. That's when I realized that I loved the idea of designing hijabs. Ever since then, I've been starting and scrapping designs left and right, and while I haven't released a print of mine just yet, It will be coming very soon. 

The goal with having a printed hijab collection is to tell a story. To have a significance behind each detail. Which is why the very first print that I finalized (and that you will see sometime this year, if all goes well iA) is incredibly important to me. And I hope to carry forward the story telling with each hijab.

The launches will be quite slow and limited, so please bear with Sahar as we really want to put our best foot forward with each hijab :)
